Our team

  • Kristina Pomothy

    Founder & Director

After facing the consequences of traumatic brain injury, Kristina decided to start an organisation that integrates body-centered modalities into healthcare and self-development. Psychedelic-assisted therapy was one of the several tools that have shaped this path of learning, as well as psychotherapy training, integration coaching, Compassionate Inquiry and other trauma-informed approaches. Prior to starting Curacura (previously Under the Apple Tree) in 2021, Kristina practiced organisational psychology, creating and facilitating systemic change and leadership development programs internationally. She has been trained in the Netherlands, UK and the US, involved with therapeutic communities globally and is currently enrolled at the Czech Institute of Biosynthetic Psychotherapy.

  • Marek Homola

    Co-founder & Investor

Marek joined Kristina while learning about the many innovations and shadows the wellness industry has to offer globally. As he explored the retreat and longevity hype of the privileged world, he longed to create an authentic community that offers a safe and reliable shelter for growth and healing. His love for the world of sauna and cold exposure has turned him into a certified Wim-Hof method instructor on top of leading the global strategy team at Uber Eats. He is devoted to the safe integration of psychedelic-assisted therapy into non-clinical contexts and supports scientific research in natural settings. Marek currently lives in New York and helps Curacura build a global network of experts.
